Privacy summary

What this product is

Noema is an experiential web app for brief structured reflection on images. It is not therapy or medical care and not for emergencies.

Data we process

• Reflection content you type and assistant replies generated for you.
• Session state (e.g. card in progress, counts, journey entries) stored with your anonymous browser id or Firebase account id after sign-in.
• Authentication: if you use Google sign-in, Firebase processes credentials per Google's and Firebase's terms (we do not display your email in the product UI by default).
• AI processing: prompts and replies may be sent to our AI provider (e.g. Google Gemini) to operate the service.

Cookies & storage

We use essential browser storage so the app can remember your thread and preferences (including ritual sounds).

If you choose Accept analytics, we load Vercel Web Analytics and may initialize Firebase / Google Analyticswhen configured — aggregated usage to understand retention and errors. You can refuse analytics and keep using the app ("Essential only").

Processors & hosting

Typical subprocessors include Vercel (hosting), Google Firebase (database/auth/analytics), and Google AI (model inference). Their policies apply to their processing.

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, rectify, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us below to exercise requests; we may need to verify your account.

Children

Noema is not directed at children under 13 (or higher age where required).
